Bill was a the smartest person I've met. He had a love for life, family and God that was impressive. The only thing that would ever come in the way of the before mention was his love for Auburn. From "The Tennessean"............
Passed away on April 6, 2007. Dr. Thomason earned a Civil Engineering Degree from Auburn University, a Master of Religious Education and a Doctor of Education from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.

Sports : My First Marathon

A good subtitle for this rambling would be "How I Spent 2006" or "Running and Writing are Good Therapy".

I started running again during March of last year. The first few runs were about 2 miles long with a grand total in that month of 13 miles. I became more consistent in April but in May a good friend of mine, Reynold, lost his 19 year old son in an auto accident. This event along with various health issues of my family fueled my training.

Sports : Fall & Winter 06

This past year, both boys played football – Wes for Hebron and Paul with a bunch of his buddies from school. Wes played running back and outside linebacker. Paul played running back, tight end and inside line backer. Both had a blast and enjoyed themselves.

Mike & Amy : Summer Wrapup 06

Summer was a blast for us all. It ended with the traditional “Hammerfest” - a week long trip to Mississippi with grandma and all the cousins. This year mom and dad decided that they and the 5 grand kids would spend the majority of the time at a lake house. Everyday was filled with swimming, skiing and tubing. We don’t know how many years this tradition will carry on, but I know the kids will regret it when it’s over.

The past few months have been filled with great highs and lows. I continue to be proud of my family. Besides being wonderful people, each kid has unique talents that make me beam with joy. Ashley blew it out in school this year and devoted herself to her art work. She started her first job (one where you fill out a W2) this year and did such great work for them. She raised $1000 to attend a volunteer work project in Philly – she will be gone for about 2 weeks in June.
