It's never easy to say goodbye - especially to someone you've known for 10+ years. There is no way to keep the strong feelings as time passes. There are always questions of "what if" or "did I make the right decision". However, the day will come for 99.9999% of the boys playing baseball when they stuff their glove into the bag for the last time. And so, an era comes to end in the Hammer house for Wes.

Mike & Amy : Trying Something New
Posted by Mike Hammer on 2008/3/5 10:00:00 (137 reads)

Yesterday was a fine day. It started with taking Wes to the Physical Therapist to work on his hand. I then get a call from Amy informing me that Paul has gotten a migraine. The weather here was in great flux Mon/Tue - 70 to snow is about 24 hours. So, I worked from home and around 4pm I decided to participate in the Democratic primary. First, I have never voted in a primary. Second, I typically vote Republican though I am an Independent. It was very exciting for me.
